If your talking about "Night life" well it true there is nothing happening here on Mars at the moment... I did have a TV but the reception was rubbish, then the dust finally finished it off...
Hello World Indiana here ...Hello all you folks at NASA how are you doing?...Welcome to Mars and the first edition of the Chronicle. There has been quite a bit of action since RHS1 established the RHS1 Building in the Hellas Basin last year.

Apart from publishing the first Martian newspaper RHS1 has been busy exploiting the commercial aspects of the "Red" planet as it not cheap to live here, water is still very expensive. The food situation is not so bad as greenhouses were established when the RHS1 building went up... The problem foodwise are the "Pampogs" the only indigenous life form I know about to date, they are a real nuissance biggest gang of thieves since Ghenis Khan...The Chronicle will be running a feature article about them as soon as we are up and running. That is, I will be because apart from a dog and a cat and a couple of NASA droids their is no one else here at present ....
Latest News
Solar System Real Estate
Coming soon an exclusive interview with Edgar T Finhawke CEO of Solar System Real Estate. Who will be talking to me about about their new office here on Mars and SSRE intention to sell land on Mars to the people back on Earth in partnership with RHS1.
I managed to take a photo of the new office before it opens despite a dust storm. As you can see I can't afford a luxury space suit, I am wearing a 2 piece overall that was in fashion in USA in the late 19th and beginning of the 20th century, the "Casy" rather than the "Indiana" Jones look...Needless to say as its now out of vogue its not very expensive...What am I doing with it on? Well like I said their is only myself , Optica the dog , a black cat (see images below) and couple of NASA mars rovers here at the moment so it was a walk over to win the construction contract for the SSRE office building which I am just finishing in the photo. Notice the sky ; there isn't one! Thats dust; the storm is just receeding at the time the image was taken. Dust is one of the disadvantages of living on Mars. You will find the true meaning of the word "sandwhich" if you try picnicing in this place.

Optica the dog "keeping an eye on things".

The Black cat
The Hellas to Victoria railway

Proposed new rail link link between Hellas and Victoria craters
This is breaking news, just in...SSRE have given the go ahead for a railway line to be constructed from the Hellas impact basin to Victoria Crater ...Which is great news as I am sick walking everywhere with my boots full of sand...The construction contract has been awarded to the Mars construction company...Which is me "hardly suprising eh!"....

"It pays to advertise"!
Mars advertising park...Hellas industrial Zone
The new enterpise park in northern Hellas will include an advertising complex I will be taking some images of the area for the chronicle as soon as possible its a bit chilly outside at the moment...Winter is coming.
NASA droid breaks wheel

The Mars rover "Spirit" has broken its right-front wheel. The droids were not very fast before about 5 or 6 hundred feet a week...Now Phew! Who knows?...I had a look at it, looks like the circuits are stuck on open probably the temperature drop... If you want NASA; I can tap it with a hammer...See what happens but the risk yours, it's a pretty complex gizmo you know....I saw the other droid trundling about a kilometer from the Victoria crater , no idea what its doing there...Seems to be working OK though...Mind you it did sink into some soft sand but the engineers at NASA managed to extract it. Opty and I would have dragged it out, no big deal as it weighs just over a third of what it does on Earth...
New Droid spotted

Optica the dog has tracked down a new droid...I managed to interrogate it by pluging
in my laptop to its control panel...Says its name is Googlebot on a mapping expedition
from Google labs, Earth. Welcome to Mars Google it good to see others taking a hand
in the development of this planet :O)
If you need any construction work doing here on Mars
Google then look no further because there is no futher to look... :O)
Well thats it folks for the first edtion of the Chronicle...I will be bringing you more news about the red planet soon...I'm real busy at the moment as I will be "working on the railroad" on monday morning...
All the best...Indiana
